We had a fabulous trip to Akita and were left marveling at the attractions the prefecture offered. The two major attractions to really impress us were the Akita Castle and the Museum. There is a beautiful park opposite these impressive attractions. The Senshu Park is also well known and famous amongst the visitors. From Akita we made a visit to one of the well known Samurai towns which was very traditionally Japanese. The Akita hotel we stayed in had excellent rooms large in size and with well decorated off white colored furniture. The facilities in the rooms of the Akita hotel were quite modern and included high speed internet access.

The hotel had a nice restaurant which featured a selection of cuisine. The hotel was a luxury class hotel and had a well equipped gymnasium. The hotel’s staff was friendly, polite and extremely hospitable.
